my Albin anscestors were pure blooded englishmen. they were a royal family in the country and were chased out of the country by commonfolk. they fled to the united states where they found people living in modest little houses. they were digusted by this, being used to their excessively roomy castles, and wanted everyonee to know that they were important and to be respected, hence changing their last names to "royalty". years up the family tree, my grandfather's grandfather married a pure blooded native american woman. for an unknown reason he changed the last name to "albin" when he was married. thats it. true story.
